Few places are more beautiful and accommodating than our own Lake Jovita Country Club. It’s been the setting for everything from weddings to fundraising galas, holiday parties to graduation celebrations. With the season nearly upon us, now is the time to book all or part of the Club for your next gathering. Here is a Lake Jovita Event Planning 101 Guide to doing just that:
Book early. We’re already scheduling events for this Fall and during the holiday season, so now is the time to reserve your spot on the calendar.
Set your budget. There is typically a cost per guest, not including tax and gratuity. We can accommodate budgets of around $20++ for luncheons, to about $50++ for dinner events. Keep in mind that prices increase during the month of December.
Choose your space. You can rent out the entire Club for a soiree with around 300 people, or choose the intimate Private Grill Room, which holds about 20. The Grill Room itself can accommodate around 60 people, while the main Dining Room can easily fit about 120 people, including space to be utilized as a dance floor.
Don’t go it alone. Planning the perfect event can be stressful if it’s not your day job. We have preferred vendors that can provide everything from room décor to live music, photographers to audio-visual specialists.
